 \nAnyone who has struggled with infertility knows the emotional and ph
 ysical burden of trying to conceive. Despite the fact that 1 in 8 coup
 les experience infertility, many people feel isolated and alone in the
 ir journey. The <i><b>In The Know Short Film Competition</b></i> encou
 rages those 7.3 million Americans affected by infertility to share the
 ir stories and provide hope and encouragement to others.\n\nThose who 
 have been touched by infertility can participate in the competition by
  submitting a creative, inspirational short film about their path to p
 arenthood (or the journey of someone close to them). The film must be 
 under 10 minutes in length. The deadline to submit entries is August 1
 , 2009. Submitted films will be reviewed by a panel of judges, and com
 petition finalists will have their films screened at a festival in New
  York City this fall where a winner and runners-up will be chosen and 
 awarded prizes. The winner will receive $1,000 and two runners-up will
