WEGO Health

A new survey released reveals that about 1/3 of all Americans research their prescription drugs online. I guess I was a bit surprised that this number was so low. Are you?

In a related question, I've heard some docs make somewhat disparaging comments about patients who do internet research when talking to other docs. The complaint is typically that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing and that patients get false hopes. What have your experiences been when you've discussed your internet research with health care providers?
