one day after lunch in about 15 minutes i felt my upper lip swollen and than felt itching all over my body and i noticed redness on my face and than in few more minutes i had hives all over my body.it is so much irritating. After i have been to an urgrnt care i had 50mg benadryl for next 4 days ,every 6 hours and today i m little better yet my face and neck has hives developing abruptly. That day i had a lunch of eggplant and peanut curry.it was home made and this vegetable i am used to make previously too.its for the first time...but i m not sure what is the cause.

After net search i saw eggplant and peanut is susseptible......but i used to eat it before also...

My question is what is it causing me to this allergic reaction? Will i have it all my life ?as this is the first time i had this allergic reaction.will i be allergic for the rest of my life?Hives never gets cured once appeared? They just go and come back?

Hives can be caused by a number of things including allergies or a virus. But it's the swelling of your upper lip that concerns me. Any swelling around the mouth can turn serious and it's something that you should have looked at by your physician. A person can develop a food allergy at any time in their life. Even if you've eaten something without any reaction for your entire life you can suddenly develop an allergic reaction to it without warning. My suggestion to you would be to see your physician or better yet an allergist to determine if your reaction was caused by something you ate. Eggplant isn't a common allergen (although, yes you can be allergic to it) but peanuts are and they certainly can be life threatening. A simple skin or blood test can tell you if you are allergic or not. For now I would avoid peanuts and peanut products just to be on the safe side. Another thing you can do until you can see your physician is to keep a food diary. This may help you narrow down exactly what caused your reaction.
If you do have a food allergy the likelihood of it going away is slim. People aren't "cured" of their food allergies. But you can live a totally normal and safe life with it (my son is allergic to wheat, rye, barley, oat, egg and tree and is just fine). Hives usually appear 20 minutes to an hour after you've eaten the offending food and go away within a few hours. If they are lasting longer than that or keep coming back they may not be from food but from a virus or from a new soap, cream, perfume, etc. that you are using. Please note that if you have ANY trouble breathing while you are having the hives that you should call 911 immediately!!
