Here at WEGO Health we're all about helping people find the best health information and resources. As this allergy season has been particularly bad, I'm hoping members here will jump in with some of their favorite seasonal allergy resources.
Where do you go for information about seasonal allergies? What have you found most helpful? Please share everything from links to specific discussions, blog posts or videos, to message boards, blogs, or whole websites that have helped you weather allergy season.
To get things started, I'll recommend a few places I've found particularly helpful:
Pollen.com is always great when you're looking for the pollen forecast for your neighborhood, or if you want to know what to expect on a trip. They've also got great historical information if you're looking for trends, and a two-city comparison feature if you're looking to move.
Of course, I also have to mention that WEGO Health has some great reference pages for all kinds of allergies.
Ah! I totally agree. It's SO hard to plan ahead in any allergy season, but weather.com at least provides a pollen count for each day so I can prepare for what to expect, everyday, hour by hour.
I have a few sites that I like to go to for Information on seasonal allergies, like for Instant WedMD,Realage.com is also a good site to explore, and RemediesDirect.com/AllergyAid,and this Is a really helpful site,AllergiesHealthDashboards.com,and Wellnesspick.com,those are only a few that I check out,I suffer from seasonal Allergies year round with summer being the worst with pollen count high,i hope these are a big help.
I definitely go to www.webmd.com, I also go to medhelp.org to discuss what medications may be helpful. Pollen.com is probably my #1 resource for the pollen forecast - which hasnt been too necessary considering all of his rain on the east coast!
