Isotretoin use and IBD/gastro disorders

A recent article came out linking the use of Isotretinoin (often used for acne treatment) and IBD.

I'm curious if any of our communities are talking about this link? How many of us have used isotretinoin in the past?

I did not use Accutane, but my quest to clear my Graves' ravaged skin I did use topical Retin A for many years. This product is closely related to isotretinoin.

The article wasn't specific if the compound was acting directly in the digestive system, or in another manner. It will be interesting to see what they come up with in the future...
