Here is a link to an interview she gave that I assume was more recent because of the difference in her symptoms.

For those of you who did not see Alex the first time she was on The Doctors, below are some links to clips from the original show. The first link is a trailer and the other 2 links are of the actual show.

Hi All!
For those of you who missed seeing ALEX on “The Doctors” yesterday (10/14), she was FABULOUS and I’m so proud of her!!! She is doing amazing things to help enlighten the general public about dystonia, and helping to put a human face on the disorder. Kudos to you ALEX!!! The program spent quite a bit of time focusing on her, discussing dystonia, possible treatments, etc. It presented part of her visit to Massachusetts General Hospital where she met with Dr. Nutan Sharma, Movement Disorder Specialist and Dr. Emad Eskandar, Neurosurgeon. Montel Williams was part of the segment as well, as he has played a pivotal role since the beginning. Alex “may” be a candidate for the Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) surgery pending more testing. Because the surgery is very costly, a special donation fund for her has been set up through Dr. Phil’s Foundation to help cover the surgical costs at https://drphilfoundation.org/donate/index.php And also a company that Montel Williams works with that manufactures at-home fecal occult blood test kits (that help in the early detection of colorectal cancer) will donate part of their proceeds towards Alex’s surgery too. You can view some video clips from the program through www.thedoctorstv.com and specifically at these links:

I first watched Alex she was on the Doctors show it was all about getting out there in the world and not being afraid of peoples reactions to her movements. I just watched what was shown resently care of Beka posting the sites, it's to bad they have to raise funds for Alex to have the DBS, if she was in Canada this would not have to done and how many others with dystonia who are not able to have this surgery are left hanging because they don't have a voice. I know there is no prefect system but having universal health care can help those who have no one or not the means to get proper care. Thorns
