hello
i have two questions about heart attack and aspirin.
1)is it okay to take an aspirin for a person with hypertension during the heart attack?
2)may taking an aspirin cause a problem for a hypertensive person during the heart attack?
thanks

Kamelia,
After my first heart attack, back when the doctors had no clue about getting my blood pressure under control (it ran in the 216/120 range all the time), they still wanted me to take aspirin regularly. I tell this with some reservation as I have limited faith in doctors' suggested regimens. I do take an 81 mg aspirin daily at this time and the cardiologists think that's a good thing. My blood pressure is quite a bit lower now... just slightly elevated.
