Hi,
glad to find this group. Hopefully as everyone here shares ideas and knowledge more and more people will come to realize that migraines are quite common and treatable. Even if it seems all too often that only treatment is banging head into wall.

BTW, I can't answer the Quick Poll that's up currently, because like most of us, there is no one answer to how I treat my Migraines. It's a multi-factored disease and everyone I've encountered who is successful at managing it uses most of the methods listed above. We can't afford to choose just one!

It is comforting to find that I am not alone with this disorder...sometimes I think I am going crazy. Sometimes I just want to think I am only making it up...now I see that I am not making it up...the suffering and the disabling condition.

I come from generations of women that suffered migraines- I was unluck enough to inherit them also. And now my two grandchildren suffer from them also. I have the kind that makes you scream when anyone even walks across a floor or if there is a hint of light in the room.

I am currently using injections of Imitrex. Before finding it, I think they gave me everything they thought could possibly help- which it didn't.

I am happy to find this group and look forward to the coaching series. Very nice to meet you all.
