Hi all,
I found this information on the net recently. I want to share this with you all...

A respiratory trouble causing impairment in breathing air by individuals is characterized by this disorder. Short breathing, particularly breathing out is impaired in this condition. Wheezing while exhaling, coughing, tightness in the chest is the feature of the asthma. The process of bronchial muscles spasm due to the narrowing of air passage marks the reaction. The narrowing can occur because of inflammation, that is, accumulation of fluid in the walls or the spasm of the bronchial muscle themselves. In some cases, the 'collapse of the posterior walls of trachea and bronchi is reported. This can be caused by allergic reaction, bacterial viral infection and psychological factors.

Hi All

I am an Asthma researcher. I want to share some information on asthma amongst kids. I can understand the ordeal parents of asthma kids go through. My parents have been through hell when i was a kid, as i got asthma when i was a kid. Let me know if you would like me to share information to find possible care for children suffering from asthma.

As a parent of a micropreemie, my biggest concern has remained weight gain/nutrition.

Thanks, Janeen. Yes... colic, should have known. And of course, allergy stuff. I think my son's sleep issues were related to his eczema.

Hi Ria,
For my first son it was Colic and sleep issues (or lack of sleep!). The second son was asthma and food allergies. HTH!

What was your biggest health concern during your baby's first year?

I want to resource answers for parents to the most common infant health concerns. Is it vaccinations? Food allergies? SIDS? Your input will help tremendously!
