Last week, WEGO Health partnered with branding firm
Siegel+Gale to
survey the general public and Health Activists on their understanding of the President's plan for health care reform.
The results were telling.
Most Americans do not understand the plan. Even those who consider themselves health-savvy or up on politics did not fully comprehend the general points of the new reform. You can read the
full report here (pdf).
Last week 102 Health Activists participated in the survey, but it's still a hot topic and a really important issue and we'd like to hear from everyone. We want to learn more about what you're seeing online:
Do you think members of your other online health communities have a good understanding of the changes proposed in the President's health care plan?
More specifically: How do you think health care reform would affect children's health care needs? What would you like to see in the reform that would positively affect those who seek special care for their children? How would you like childhood illnesses, babycare, and primary family care addressed in the reform?
