Ladies,

I appeal to you as health care providers.  I have a community of close to 400 women entrepreneurs. I would like to start a group called such as this that would include health care tips, resources, etc. This is so important as women need to be informed.

Would any of you consider joining my community to provide information, resources and tips to the women in my community?  I appreciate your consideration.  My community is www.nawomenrise.com.

Mandy-

Thanks!  I didn't catch that typo!  For some reason I can't paste things into comment boxes on here, so I retyped it a few times and messed up:)  Thanks!

Hi Jenny,

Just an FYI, I think the URL is CleaningForAReason.org - will pass along! Thank you for sharing!

Hi-

I just had information passed on to me and did some quick research to see that this is legit before passing it on, and IMO it looks like it is!  This organization offers free home cleaning services to women undergoing chemo treatments for cancer (for a few months).  They cover most of the country.  This is their website, from which you can get a link to their Facebook page:

www.cleaningforacure.org

Can people in the cancer groups repost?  I don't want to join a bunch of groups I won't otherwise participate in right now but obviously want to let them know about this service.  Thanks!

If I hear of anything I'll let you know... :-)

Thanks Kristin - I certainly understand what you're saying, I started my whole "UII" effort before discovering any of the groups already out there because until you're in the middle of them they can be so hard to find.  However, this person I don't think is ready for that step yet.  She approached me specifically to see if I could help her find any existing networks, etc, because she really needs the support right now more than anything and isn't in a spot yet where she can start it for herself.  If you hear of anything please let me know, and congrats on your success so far with MomsWithMS!

Jenny the best support and connection resources might be for her to start a community, or to start a blog about it or something. Not being able to find resources specific to "moms with multiple sclerosis" is what led to my creating MomsWithMS.com and I know plenty of other moms now (600+!). I have thought of making one for "autoimmune" conditions but have not gone that route as what I already have keeps me really busy.

Does anyone have resources for ovarian autoimmune disease?  I don't know the formal name of the condition...I'm looking for information for a collegue of mine.  I would especially love resources for support & connecting to others as opposed to technical information (she's a nursing student and has access to as much scientific info as she could want).  Thanks for your help!!
