More about me (my health interests and reasons for joining WEGO Health)
I am a mother and wife who is working to raise awareness about celiac disease and the gluten-free lifestyle. But at the same time I'm trying to keep myself healthy through running and duathlons. I am looking for all news related to celiac disease.

Hi Amy - Welcome to WEGO Health, we're so glad you've found us! Please let me know if there are any questions you might come up with about the site. If you see a conversation that interests you, go ahead and jump right on in!

Celiac disease is such an important disease to inform people about. I've been tested myself with a negative result. I was later told that you must be on a diet that includes gluten at the time of testing tho, and I was not. I do suffer some fairly severe malabsorption issues, and we found that my grown up kids do as well. We're really still just learning about Celiac and gluten free living, not knowing if it will really help us or not. It's Health Activists like you who make the difference for families like mine. Thank you!
