Welcome to WEGO Health, Barbara - we're so glad you're here!

What brings you to our community of Health Activists? I see you've not yet taken the Health Activist quick-quiz. It's always interesting to see where each person's strengths and interests lay!

I am active mostly in the Migraine group because of my specific interest in educating Migraineurs and their families. I have Dystonia tho as well, and spend a lot of time there as well as the Chronic Pain group. I am all over the site though and have many different health interests so you'll probably see my face in quite a few places!

I see we actually have quite a few things in common. I suffer several autoimmune issues, as do members of my family. Gastroparesis is a battle, as is malabsorption and pernicious anemia. It has been such a comfort to me, and I've learned so much from those I've been blessed to meet here. I hope you find the same is true for you.

Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about what goes on at WEGO Health, we're so glad to have you here!

Cheers!
Ellen

A Life of Pain and Blessings

I began to have stomach problems as a child. I was diagnosed with out any test being run as having food allergies. My mother removed from my diet mixed meats like hot dogs and bologna and chose instead meats that stood alone.
I was also diagnosed as being b12 anemic, and placed on over the counter b12 (to fix a problem that would plague my life.) But when all was said and done, and my mother got tired of all the visit to the doctors, she told me that I would have to learn to live with it, with o… Continue
