- I'm married, no kids by choice, work part-time, and I've had Cervical Dystonia (Spasmodic Torticollis) since 2003 (a repetitive-motion injury at work). At first, my head just turned to the right, but now my head turns to the right, my chin tilts up, and my head pulls towards my left shoulder. I'm getting Botox from a pain management specialist familiar with Dystonia, and it's going fairly well so far.

Dystonia stinks, but Botox helps
I've been getting Botox for my Cervical Dystonia from a pain management specialist for about 3 years. Since he's familiar with Dystonia, amd treats others with it, he's doing a good job. The Dystonia is usually still noticeable, but I'm a lot more functional than I was before treatment, and the pain relief has been great.

I've got the Cervical Dystonia as well.
I was diagnosed in 2007.
I agree..."Dystonia stinks", but Botox helps!
My Botox is starting to wear off.
My next injections will be on July 4th...my memorial day...lol!
Last time I got seven shots with 250 units of Botox.
I must say it has a remarkable impact on me as it works right away....huge difference...I'm thankful for it!
