"Amen. Thank you for your vigilance to Sjs. I told someone it was a systemic issue, and they argued the point with me.....oh well. Education, education and more education. Kind of like an endless battle.....    "

How Annoying? Let Me Count The Ways.....

Guys. Confession time yet again here in Julia World. After our weekend visit for Sarah's graduation, I began downloading and editing my photos, and as I counted the number of pics that I took during just three short days.......um. I realized that I need to add one more personal attribute to my Things That Drive Others Crazy About Julia list. When I pick up my camera, I become as obsessed with taking pictures as my friend Bev's border collie does when he sees his favorite frisbee.Click click click…See More

Goldie - WITHOUT my swimming suit inside.  I've commented before about how much I enjoy the spirit and spunk of the senior water aerobics ladies over at the community center. Yep - The gang of amply endowed gals that mooned me on my first visit to the swimming pool locker room, God love 'em.They've endeared themselves to me…See More

More about me (my health interests and reasons for joining WEGO Health)
I am a fifty-something woman who was diagnosed with Sjogren's Syndrome seven years ago. Autoimmune disease has been an expensive experience for me: it has cost me my career as an RN, several of my hobbies, and a few of my friends. It has, however, provided an enormous learning opportunity for me and my family and friends. I have been able to focus my medical knowledge and interest into learning more about Sjogren's Syndrome and autoimmune diseases in general. In writing my blog, Reasonably Well, I find the contact with other Sjoggies very rewarding, especially when I can share some of my experiences with this disease which may be helpful to others.

Hello Julia!

Welcome to WEGO Health - we're so glad you found us!

I see your a SS patient too. I would love to invite you to join our Autoimmune Group where there are currently a few discussions re: Sjogren's, and several Sjogren's Health Activists networking together for education and awareness.

I too am a Sjogren's patient. Unfortunately I went a very long time before finally receiving a diagnosis. I'm learning what I can and spreading the word as much as I can too!
