- Dear Karen, How are you? Sorry I hanen't emailed sooner but it not easy to keep up with things having Dystonia. It's COLD here so I'm hurting more these days. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving and looking foward to a very Merry Christmas. I really don't care too much anymore about the holidays with Dystonia and finances. I have 2 grown sons and a daughter and 1 beautiful granddaughter 2 years old. I have a few things for her but I had buying for my hubby and sons. I buy my daughter a lot of things all the time even if she did break my heart and drop out of college and move in with some guy 1o years older than her and he is still married. Oh I took that so hard and still am. As she is not working now and neither is he and he treats her not so good and they live in a discusting trailer and I worry about her all the time. But she won't leave him. All I can do is pray. which I do. Enough about me. How about you? Sheilla

- hi karen, I'm taking ativan and botox injections. Ihave treid Baclofen, Artane, Neurotin and many others. The docters thought Inderal might help with the movements but I don't see any improvement. I'm still taking Inderal. Zestril,HCTZ, and Diovan for high blood pressure, Glucophage and Januvia for Diabetes,Zoloft and Trazadone for Depression and Zocor for High Cholestral. I just found out today that I have a hole in my ear drum. What else can there be? I have had enough. Take care, Sheilla

what kind of dystonia do you have?..i have generalized and it's very active everywhere..makes getting thru the day a big challenge..it's a good thing that i love challenges!!..today's is to get caught up on my page and the discussions hopefully i'll be able to respond to more than just your comment!!

- Karen, Yes I have Dystonia too. In my face, hands, arms and neck and now going into my legs. I have fallen alot which in turn didn't help my neck at all. Had disks fised and bone from the bone bank put in my neck back in 2000. But still have alot of pain and get botox every 3 months. Yes this rainy weather does not help ay all with my pain. We have not had any summer at all. So cold at night, we have to close all of our windows. Take care and so glad you are willing to be my freind. Sheilla
