Thank you for the comment and no i haven't thought of that idea at all. i know that i have a hard time with him and the heat. His room has to be extra cool for him to sleep cause other wise he will wake up soaked from sweat. But that does make since i will have to try it. Thank you
Keri, what a lovely little guy you have, I was thinking about the sleeping problem and was wondering if you got him a heated mattress cover it would keep his muscle warm and maybe help them not go into spasms as much. If his not out of diaper's yet you could get a plastic cover to cover it so there wouldn't be a problem with it getting wet, just a thought. Blessings Thorns

I'm a mother to a special little boy that is 2 years old he will be 3 in Nov. He was just recently diagnosed with dystonia in july and has also just received his first Power wheelchair. He is the youngest child that childrens hosptial in Omaha NE has ever put into a power chair. He is the strongest boy that i have ever meet, no matter what he is or has gone through he comes out of it with a smile on his face!!
