- In Septemer of 2008 I was hit with a fork lift at work, as of two weeks ago the dctors told me I have dystonia. I have never heard of dystoina before and I am trying to find out all I can about it. I am haveing problems with my memory to the point I forgot how to spell my daughters middle name.

Mental Shock!
I am no doctor nor have I spent time with my head in medical journals. Up until 8 months ago I thought I had the world by the tail. A mother of three teenage daughters and if we wanted to see this state or that one we would load up and go. That all ended when a fork lift ran me down cousing me to bang my head on a steal beam. Know the doctors say Dystonia due to brain injury. I have never heard of Dystonia before and do not fully understand it.
