We've all seen the list "20 things about me" "50 thing about me you didn't know..." They can actually be interesting if you want to get to know the person better! We'll we've got one I haven't seen anywhere yet, "30 Things About My Invisible Illness You May Not Know."Posted on August 29, 2009 at 4:07pm — 3 Comments

Just so you are aware, I am tweeting several times a day... most days in support of restministries.org and .com. I had a very bad experience with my church directly attributable to my illnesses and see such a great need in offering greater education in serving the chronically ill members of churches. As a retired minister, I must admit that prior to becoming ill, myself, I wasn't conscious of this tremendous need. Now, it has become a passion although I do not have a church home in the moment. When you are feeling much better, perhaps we could discuss how I may serve in the future.
Many Blessings, Lisa!
Jim
I have been praying for you regarding your hand surgery and send you positive thoughts and God's strength and grace to carry you into complete healing.
I look forward to continuing to get to know you and to create a friendship of service and mutual support. If there is ever anything that I may do, please never hesitate to ask. If I am able, the answer will be yes!
In the Spirit of Service!
I see that you've already joined the Health Bloggers Group - joining groups is a great way to get involved with the community here. You might be interested in joining Chronic Pain Group or the Chronic Illness Group. Once you're in a group you can ask questions, offer advice, and engage with others who have similar interests. It's awesome. You can also join as many groups as you want.
One of my favorite things to do here is write blog posts about new research I've done. Blogs are a way to get ideas out to the whole community. You add comments or start discussions there as well. It's great to hear more about a condition, new studies, or someone's thoughts about certain ideas. Feel free to start your blog here. You can write a post introducing yourself, sharing some thoughts, or asking questions. :)
