Hello Lynne, Good to be friends with you. I too have neuropathy in all of my limbs and hands and feet. It is very painful, and I am beginning to lose my ability to walk. I am using a cane, and my fear of being completely bed ridden is growing. I have many other illnesses, and therefore I can take very little kinds of medications, or I will go into liver failure. Right now I am trying the drug Lyrica and having serious side effects to th\at too! People are so unaware of how painful it is, and how serious it can be. At first I thought it was my RA/Fibromyalgia that was effecting my legs so badly and my pain Dr told me it was my neuropathy. How did you feel accepting not being able to walk? This is such a fear of mine? I am very grateful that you sent me a friend request, and I am looking fwd to getting to know you........
Your new friend
Have a Blessed day

Welcome to WEGO health, Lynne! It looks like you've already jumped right in by joining some groups and starting your blog. That's awesome. I encourage you to take our What Type of Health Activist Are You Quiz. Feel free to ask some questions or start discussions in any of our groups and join in our constant exchange of health information!

I am one of those people who would probably say "what is that?" when you mention neuropathy - but that doesn't mean I'm not interested! Could you post about this in your blog so myself and others can learn more? I'm glad you've joined WEGO Health to spread awareness - this is a great place to do just that. :)

Hi my name is Lynne I have neuropathy this illness has made me unable to walk I'm wanting there to be more awareness about neuropathy this illness
has affected so many lives and a lot of people don't know what it is, they may ask what's wrong with you and you tell them neuropathy nine times out of ten they will say what is that.

Neuropathy

Neuropathy I was told by my doctor, and from what I have read on neuropathy it
is a disorder of the peripheral nerves the sensory motor and the autonomic nerves that
connect the spinal cord to the muscles skin and internal organs. And when the nerves are
damage there's pain and a lot of it ,the pain it never stops it feels like a bad tooth ache but all of your teeth are hurting and it never goes away.
