- I have a very independent nature and require freedom from the authority and interference of others to operate at my best. I am very business-minded, capable, and shrewd. In my personal relations with others, I am inclined to be friendly, generous, and thoughtful. Generally, I am very expressive. Appreciation and encouragement lift my spirits. I am creative and admire originality. I have a very positive manner and outlook on life. I possess a broad range of skills and experience, which I believe, have, and will continue to positively impact, my community. I have always had the motivation to strive towards and obtain leadership positions. In addition, I have been deeply involved with many community organizations and non-profits. I have a grown daughter, who lives in the Washington, DC area. I am single and occasionally work with a variety of non-profit groups. I also consult on and about computer issues. During my time as a student, I had a 3.2 cumulative GPA and was majoring in Social Services with Certification as a Chemical Dependency Counselor. I can truly say that everything I need I have always had and while I am not wealthy economically my wealth is in the people I have been able to connect with in my life. I have had a full portion of blessings and work at blessing others in any way that I can. My strengths are my zest and love for life, my creative power, and my warm and generous heart. I love wholeheartedly and generously and really know how to make the person I love feel special. I love the magic of "being in love" and know how to keep the romance alive in my relationships. I am also immensely loyal and will defend my loved ones and stand by them to the end - as long as they never offend or betray my trust. I believe that if I do not put myself out there, I may miss the opportunity to meet the person who is meant for me. Without risk, there is no reward. I kind of feel that my heart is like a fragile egg and when I give to someone, I have to trust that they will take care of it, and not cause any damage. I hate dishonesty and try to get negative people out of my life as fast as I can.
