Lies by Omission

Today I wrote this post on the common healthcare industry practice of not telling patients if they have been the victims of preventable medical errors. This is a hot button issue for me, and it should be for every activist here at Wego. It drives me crazy that, instead of taking steps to stop rampant preventable medical errors, hospitals have instead chosen to cover… Continue

Another Wrinkle at CS

If you've been following the CT scan radiation overdose story out of Cedars-Sinai, then this latest development is probably not new to you. For those who haven't heard, Cedars-Sinai subjected some 260 CT scan patients to dangerous levels of radiation over a period of 18 months. Thank you for the well-wishes. You're the best! ((Hugs)) Lots of firsts this year - first Thanksgiving without him, first Christmas without him. First trip back home without him. Thank you so for your understanding. I thought about the neat video again last night with smiles and a chuckle (I'm from near Portland) and passed it along.

Hi Dk,
Thanks for connecting.
Living in the present moment.... Living life in the NOW!
People tend to live life, fearful of their future or inhibited by their past. It is possible, even through life altering events to find peace in the moment that you are in. It is the only true moment we have!
Stay Present!

Welcome to WEGO Health, Dk! So glad that you've found us, as it sounds like you are a true Health Activist. I'm sorry to hear that you've been a victim of hospital negligence, but am glad that you're reaching out to educate others on the fact that it DOES happen.

If you ever have any questions about what goes on at WEGO Health, please let me know; I'd love to help if needed.

Looking forward to getting to know you,

Sarah
