I think one of the number one side effects is weight gain and that is not on the list above. But, I do agree with the majority of the side effects you listed based on years of personal experience. Cathy

Hi Sarah, your friend is going thru an internal struggle of feeling different than other women because her body cannot conceive. Some woman can talk about it easily and others isolate themselves. It may be exspecially hard for her to be around pre...

I do not think the resources are available until a woman sees an RE and learns more about them. Or for those of us that do research online prior to seeing an RE. Good info you listed above. It should helps those that are unaware of treatments.

I agree I feel too much tv watching for young kids is not good. They get some bad ideas from tv shows other than cartoons. They pick up vocabulary too that they shouldn't be using. I limit tv viewing and computer use. Too much computer use is bad ...

Myrtle, it sounds like you have been faced with some ignorant comments. I used to get them too. What worked for me is I would not attend those functions either. I would usually answer such as 'it takes some people longer than others to conceive.' ...

While I didn't use it, I have heard that it works -- or at least can help. I think it is worth a try since it does help to re-balance your body in a way that modern medicine cannot. I had a medical issue and was able to resolve it on my own. I was...

Kelly, I decided to tell family and friends cause I got sick of hearing 'so when are you gonna start a family' type of conversation. It would nearly put me in tears. So my answer would be 'it takes some of us longer than others to conceive' that w...

HI,
Everyone who has experienced infertilty has their own unique story to share about their journey. Each of our stories are our personal, individual experience. There are also many similarities between each of us.
Your story resonates with me... I had infertilty for 5 years, being diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis. I, too , had fibroids and underwent two surgeries to remove as much endo as they could!!
congratulations on being a mom...

Hi finally_a_mom - and welcome!

Thank you for completing the survey. The next step is a quick phone call. My hope is to be in touch later this afternoon or on Monday of next week.

I see that you've already jumped into the conversation as well as several other groups, keep up the great work, and to let me know if there's anything else I can do to help you get started.

More about me (my health interests and reasons for joining WEGO Health)
I am 45 and married, two adopted kids. Went thru five years of Infertility. Never became pregnant. Adopted my kids at birth from the USA and they are my pride and joy. I joined this group to keep up with fertility treatments in hope that I may some day get prego by the miracle of God! I have severe endometriosis, also had fibroid tumor surgery which left scarring.
