Hi katt, welcome to WEGO Health - we're so glad you're here! It's great to "meet" you...
Do you suffer aphasic attacks as part of Migraine, or something else? Have you discussed them with your doctor yet?
I hope you get the opportunity to go to my blog post about aphasia and comment about your own unique experience. Adding your voice may help someone else down the road who is seeking understanding or to be understood. I personally find aphasia to be one of the worst things about my Migraines, and I feel so lucky that they are not permanent.
I noticed you haven't had an opportunity to take the quick Health Activist quiz yet. I hope you get a chance to check it out - it's always so much fun to see where each of us fits in. I'm currently listed as a Librarian because I love the research process.
Let me know if I can help you with anything else here at WEGO Health!
I'd also like to introduce you to our Community Leader for the Migraine Group, Ellen. You can view her profile here. Ellen has lived with Migraine for a very long time, and also experiences aphasia. I'm sure she'll be able to help you find some excellent resources for understanding, and coping with, aphasia.
If you ever have any questions about the WEGO Health Community, please don't hesitate to contact me!
Be well,
Marie
