I'm 21 years old, living in Philly. I have cervical dystonia and blepharospasm. I'm applying to nursing school and finishing up an A.A. in Communications & Speech, so I'm super busy at the moment! One day I want to be a nurse practitioner. I live with my parents and my sister, and I have a wonderful boyfriend named Matt. We have been together for a year and a half now, and I really do feel serious about this guy. For fun, I like to shop, play music, go on drives to nowhere, and eat.

Hi, I am new to this forum. I have been struggling with what I used to term my 'neck problem' for about 2.5 to 3 years, but I recently discovered its Dystonia. Its seems to be getting worse and for example, I used to go running, but now I cant control my neck enough to walk comfortably, let alone run. I am getting Botox injections this coming weekend and hoping this will give me some relief.
The Dystonia only seems to affect my neck.

Hi ricki...welcome girl to the forum..I am so amazed you can do all you do with your cervical dystonia...I am so jealous!!! just kidding however if you can do it..give all you have. I am kinda at a standstill because I never know what days I am gonna feel alright...Congratulations
