When I stop to consider which animal I've met that has a perfectly adept built-in sleep mechanism... it has got to be the cat. I've never met a feline with chronic insomnia - have you?
An intelligent and entertaining sleep blogger named Kat Tansey agrees, and in fact has written a highly entertaining
post on her blog titled "
Why cats don't have insomnia" which l…

While attending a documentary premiere in New York City for the film
Under Our Skin, in which my younger sister Marlena Connors (who has been struggling with Lyme disease for about six years) debuts, a large portion of the film was contributed to Dr. Alan McDonald’s research which revealed similarities and possible connections of Lyme and Alzheimer’s disease. I spent the first weekend in May in Chicago at an event called
SOBCon (Successful and Outstanding Bloggers Conference) that was billed as Biz School for Bloggers. My mind is still aflutter from all the great information that was shared that will help me in my role as a food allergy resource and advocate. We heard from heavy-hitters in the internet marketing and Web 2.0 world like Brian Clark of

Like a number of other members here, I've started blogging about my chronic migraines. I only started last month, but it's given me a way to start living more openly with my disease as well as start promoting awareness of migraines. I've joined a great community of fellow migraine bloggers.
I invite you to check out my blog, Rhymes With Migraine, which you can find

Enjoy!

I've been researching Alzheimer's blogs and I was really touched by the
"Had a Dad" Alzheimer's blog. Gevera, the writer, has a photo up of her mom and dad together and it really humanizes the disease. She's also posts that she's working on a 101-type document for people learning about Alzheimer's and she's looking for contributors. If you want to help out, make sure to get in touch.

Here's my
blog! For over two years now, I've been writing blog entries to help me cope with my often debilitating journey with Migraine disease. Through this venture, I've learned a lot about myself, I've been able to get my stress level lower due to my being able to have a creative, migraine-based outlet, and I've had the lucky occasion to help many other sufferers by providing readers with links, news updates, and good old-fashioned camaraderie…
