WEGO Health

November 14, 2009 is World Diabetes Day. What is World Diabetes Day? It's celebrated in over 160 countries and this years theme is "prevention and education".

What can you do to support those with diabetes and get the word out?:

1. Go blue. This suggestion may be a bit extreme, but you can wear blue tomorrow (as little or as much as you want) to support those with diabetes.

2. From Diabetesaliciousness, spread the word about what it is like to live with diabetes. And not just tomorrow. Spread the word EVERY DAY.

3. Take the big blue test.

4. Sign a petition (StickySweetMama).

5. Watch this video, laugh, cry, empathize and go donate:

6. Learn more at World Diabetes Day.
