Our eureka moment

Like any nimble, clever startup, we've spent the past several months figuring out who we want to be, and how to best contribute to the world of online health.

You'd expect our journey to demand plenty of hours locked up in stuffy conference rooms scribbling workflow diagrams, prioritizing lists, butting heads, heading out for more Diet Coke and starting again - all of it, sure.

But the breakthrough moments never actually involve the smart guy yelling "Eureka!"

True eureka moments come (at least for us) when any one of us blurts out, exhausted and frustrated, "Why didn't we just do that from the start?"

Because you can't skip the journey. Or know what you don't know.

But the only way to get where you're going is to listen. I mean we have to listen to you - our community. And we try. And we do.

You guys don't know this, but you've been in all the meetings, taken part in all the discussions, right there all along.

We reached this new place together. Where helping Health Activists is our reason for being, our organizing principle. It's the important work we do.

An edgy term, maybe, Health Activist. Sure, we know it. But when you read our mission statement, I hope you'll see yourself in our mirror.
