For the second website review, I would like to address
Birth Control Buzz.
Birth Control Buzz is an extensive birth control website with many different options. If you want to read the blog, you can check out the "previous posts" link on the left hand side. This list makes it easy to see what the bloggers have been writing about and also makes searching a little easier. Blog posts range from
anovulatory bleeding ,
how RU486 works, whether
douching is a healthy practice and even gives readers
eco-friendly period options.
Birth Control Buzz is a long-standing blog (since April 2006) and the archives are easy to access. The site has very little advertising on it, and is laid out clearly in an easy-to-read format. On top of the blog, the website shares
birth control statistics, types of birth controls (along with
a comparison chart) and allows readers (with a prescription) to
purchase birth control pills.
The only thing I wish
Birth Control Buzz had would be a tags list or a table of contents. I can use the search feature, but it takes me to buy birth control pills, rather than to the information about the pills themselves. Overall, this site was fantastic. I was particularly impressed by the extra access allowed by the telephone number. If you're seeking
birth control pill information, I'd send you to
Birth Control Buzz to check it out!
