Another reason to drink some coffee

According to the BBC News "drinking five cups of coffee a day could reverse memory problems seen in Alzheimer's disease." This recently released by US scientists shows that caffeine may stop the production of the plaques of protein which oftentimes are the precursors of Alzheimer's Disease.

Using high doses (five cups of coffee is a high dose of caffeine, even if you're an active coffee drinker) of caffeinated water and rats, scientists were able to show that those rats given caffeine performed memory and thinking skills test better than those with "regular" water.

Of course further testing must be done to rest assured that this much caffeine is beneficial to a human being, but you can read more (and stay abreast on other health news) at the BBC News Health website.
