Just recently CNN shared an interesting list - of the happiest places in the world. Move over DisneyWorld, Costa Rica has taken your place!

In a recent British survey, the independent group has made the claim that Costa Ricans have the "world's highest life satisfaction."

What is it that makes Costa Rica the happiest place in the world? Their citizens are content - which makes me wonder how the content we are ... at a ranking of 114th. Strangely enough, the US was happier *and* greener twenty years ago. What has changed?

""Costa Ricans report the highest life satisfaction in the world and have the second-highest average life expectancy of the new world (second to Canada)," the [independent British] organization said in a statement."

The runner-up was the Dominican Republic, followed by Jamaica, Guatemala and Vietnam - all beautiful places we'd all love to visit, right?
