Researching helpful chronic pain resources - any ideas for us?

Hi everyone
I'm doing some research on chronic pain and I'm wondering what resources you rely on. What groups are you a part of? What blogs do you read? Where have you found the most support for yourself? Or what sites do you recommend to people who are suffering from chronic pain? I know there are quite a few members of our community dealing with Fibromyalgia so I'm interested to hear what you have to say as well.

Many thanks,
Adrienne

Hi Adrienne!
Funny you should mention this, I just recently sent Marie and message about a couple of groups in particular that I am involved with and she suggested I post something in the chronic pain group. I have not done that yet, but I hope this will help you.
There is one site in particular that I am most actively involved in. It is http://wholelifeliving.ning.com; it is called Living Whole with Chronic Pain Network. Another site that is a great resource is http://restministriessunroom.ning.com. Both of these sites are Christian based communities that offer on-line support, fellowship, groups, discussions, etc. You will quickly see the difference between the two I believe. The first that I mentioned is focused more on holistic health options, ideas, choices to help deal with chronic pain. The second is broader in scope and more focused on the social aspect of support. You will easily find other resources posted and linked within these two sites. Please feel free to check my profiles out on these sites and leave me a note and let me know what you think! I have a couple of different blogs that I have linked on my profiles that I do some writing in, but unfortunately I have not been doing a lot of posting recently.
I have a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia and you will find many others with this diagnosis as well as a wide variety of diagnosis on these sites, all of coarse, causing chronic pain.
I hope you find this information helpful!
Blessings,
Amy
