What sound makes you want to run and hide?

I saw this question posted over at The Daily Headache by Kerrie: For you migrainuers, what sound makes your ears cringe and your head scream?

I actually have a few that come to mind right away.

1. My kids screaming - Drives me nuts when I don't have a migraine, but puts me totally over the edge when I do.
2. The screech of our patio door - See explanation for number 1. They are basically the same.
3. Harley Davidson's with custom pipes - Oh my! I used to live on a very busy 4 lane highway with a biker bar at the end. Harley's would rip up and down the street at all hours of the day and night. Those super loud custom pipes would make me want to run and hide every time. And my husband owns one of those (lucky me - lol). He knows better than to start that thing up when I have a migraine or he'll have one super crabby wife.
4. Slamming car doors - It feels like they are slamming into my head.
5. The sound of teeth scraping on a fork - My husband does this and for some reason when I have a migraine that sound is like someone poking my brain with an ice pick.

Ok, now it's your turn. What sounds are the worst for you when you have a migraine?

Great question!

My worst is kids screaming. Sets me off if it's the right pitch. Most anything else sudden and loud will potentially set me off as well. If I'm already in the hold of a headache, I'm sunk. Even my family's voices sound like they're cranked up to 500 decibels in my head.
