Moms, daughters, weight and breast cancer

Well, THIS sure caught my eye --

From Weight Loss Trial Targets Breast Cancer:

Researchers are studying whether the mother-daughter bond can help promote weight loss in overweight breast cancer patients and their overweight, adult daughters in a new clinical trial at two cancer centers.

As a chubby kid growing up (uh, and a chubby woman now), I've been lucky enough to have my mother support me in my weight-loss efforts. Seeing as how maintaining a healthy weight has long been known to be a controllable factor in cancer prevention, this seems like an interesting study. It's actively recruiting mother-daughter pairs to participate -- check the website for details.
