Hi Sarah -- welcome to WEGO Health. I checked out your blog (I love the name of it by the way). Good luck with your summer resolution -- of making foods from scratch. I am an awful cook so I applaud your effort. Some of the food prices you listed in your blog seem astronomical to me.
Hi Sarah,
I just read the Email Tutorial on your blog. One of my aunts is always writing letters to customer service and she usually gets pretty good responses, believe it or not. (FYI, she's not dealing with food allergies.) A few years ago her favorite brand of canned cranberry sauce changed their packaging and it was much harder to get the sauce out of the can. This is a big deal because my aunt hosts Thanksgiving. So she wrote a letter and the company wrote back and said my aunt was not alone in her experience. They apologized, said they are working on it, and sent her a boat load of cranberry sauce.
In a nutshell, I'm a big believer in letter writing so keep up the good work :)
Hi Sarah, I think I'm going to like this community. You all are very friendly. My doctor had me eating dairy free because we couldn't figure out why my stomach had so many issues. I later had a hysterectomy and that seemed to take care of a lot of issues. I can now eat dairy (moderately). If I eat too much I start having problems. My allergist said that I need to take lactose intolerance pills. He said that I need to take up to 5 at a time, because of the way my system works. (Allergies/immune system). Cutting way back on dairy helps with weight control.
What types of things do you write about? I have been told that I need to start writing more. It hasn't historically been one of my strong suits, but life has a way of changing things for you. So, here I am cultivating this skill.
Nice meeting you. Looking forward to talking to you soon.
