I'm so sorry to hear about the pain you're experiencing. I too have a lot of pain in shoulders, neck and the back of my head. My muscle spasms are not much trouble compared to a lot of people here, (I am on Sinemet which helps tremendously) but can at times get very bad as well. The spasms can also trigger Migraine for me too. You sound like you are having cervicogenic (caused by problems in the neck) occipital headaches, related to the occipital nerve in the back of your head. There are ways to help this. Has your doctor discussed them with you? Have you tried Botox yet? What kind of Dystonia do you have?
